Sacramento Couple Fights to Get Their Baby Boy Back From Authorities For Getting Second Opinion

libertarianism is the idea that people don't own one other...

If your child had a medical condition and was admitted to the hospital, and you were unsatisfied with the medical care they received, what would you do? We all know that medical malpractice and mistakes can be dangerous and even life threatening. So if your child was admitted for a chronic issue and wasn’t acutely ill at the moment, you might think about getting a second opinion, right? Many people would consider that option… It’s only reasonable to consider talking to other medical professionals, when you are dissatisfied with your medical care…. or your child’s medical care.

However, this family lost their five month old son because of just that scenario. It is apparently a law in this country that you can’t get a second opinion when you’re told not to get a second opinion.

Sacramento couple fights to get their baby boy back from authorities

SACRAMENTO, CA – A Sacramento family was torn apart after a 5-month-old baby boy was taken from his parents following a visit to the doctor.

The young couple thought their problems were behind them after their son had a scare at the hospital, but once they got home their problems got even worse.

It all began nearly two weeks ago, when Anna Nikolayev and her husband Alex took their 5-month-old boy Sammy to Sutter Memorial Hospital to be treated for flu symptoms, but they didn’t like the care Sammy was getting.

For example, one day Anna asked why a nurse was giving her son antibiotics.

“I asked her, for what is that? And she’s like, ‘I don’t know.’ I’m like, ‘you’re working as a nurse, and you don’t even know what to give to my baby for what,'” Anna explained.

According to Anna, a doctor later said Sammy shouldn’t have been on the antibiotics.

Anna said Sammy suffers from a heart murmur and had been seeing a doctor at Sutter for regular treatment since he was born. After Sammy was treated for flu symptoms last week, doctors at Sutter admitted him to the pediatric ICU to monitor his condition. After a few days, Anna said doctors began talking about heart surgery.

“If we got the one mistake after another, I don’t want to have my baby have surgery in the hospital where I don’t feel safe,” Anna said.

Anna argued with doctors about getting a second opinion. Without a proper discharge, she finally took Sammy out of the hospital to get a second opinion at Kaiser Permanente.

“The police showed up there. They saw that the baby was fine,” Anna said. “They told us that Sutter was telling them so much bad stuff that they thought that this baby is dying on our arms.”

libertarianism is the idea that people don't own one other...Medical records from the doctor treating Sammy at Kaiser Permanente said the baby as clinically safe to go home with his parents. The doctor added, “I do not have concern for the safety of the child at home with his parents.”

“So police saw the report from the doctors, said, ‘okay guys, you have a good day,’ and they walked away,” Anna said.

Anna said the next day police and child protective services showed up on her doorstep. Alex Nikolayev said he met them outside a short time after they arrived.

“I was pushed against the building, smacked down. I said, ‘am I being placed under arrest?’ He smacked me down onto the ground, yelled out, ‘I think I got the keys to the house,'” Alex said.

Then police let themselves inside.

On home video shot with a camera Anna set up herself, police can be seen entering her front door on Wednesday.

“I’m going to grab your baby, and don’t resist, and don’t fight me ok?” a Sacramento police officer said in the video.

“He’s like, ‘okay let your son go,’ so I had to let him go, and he grabbed my arm, so I couldn’t take Sammy. And they took Sammy, and they just walked away,” Anna said.

When News10 spoke with police, they said talk to CPS; CPS did not say much about the case. Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, Anna said that a CPS social worker told her, the reason they took Sammy is because of severe neglect; however, the social worker didn’t elaborate on that neglect.

Sutter Memorial was asked to comment on the story, but the hospital said the case was with CPS and law enforcement and they would have to comment on the case. CPS said they can’t specifically comment on this case because of privacy law, but CPS spokesperson Laura McCasland said, “We conduct a risk assessment of the child’s safety and rely heavily on the direction of health care providers.”

“It seems like parents have no right whatsoever,” Alex said.

On Thursday, Anna and Alex were allowed a one hour visitation with Sammy; he’s currently in protective custody at Sutter Memorial Hospital.

“His smile, it’s everything for me,” Anna said. “I was so happy to see him.”

Anna and Alex have a court hearing scheduled for Monday.

“We did everything,” Anna said. “We went from one hospital to another. We just wanted to be safe, that he is in good hands.”

Increasing Number of Children Removed From Parents Custody For Refusal to Give Medications and Vaccinations

mercury in vaccines

Incidence of children being taken away from parents because of refusal to give dangerous medications, vaccinations or treatments is increasing at an alarming rate. This despite the fact that there is no law requiring a parent to give their child any medication, let alone dangerous or questionable medication that is known to have potentially severe side effects. There are no laws on the books requiring parents to vaccinate their children, which is good considering the large amount of mercury in most vaccines.

So why are parents subjected to CPS abuse cases and lengthy, expensive court cases for doing what they feel is right for their children- especially when it is not illegal? Some children have even been removed from their parents homes due to refusal of the parents to give medications with well documented potential side effects. According to the Daily Mail:

A mother was involved in a ten-hour stand-off with a police SWAT team after refusing to give her child some medication. Maryanne Godboldo, from Detroit, was accused of medically neglecting her 13-year-old daughter Ariana by not administering her with an anti-psychotic drug. Staff from the Child Protective Services, accompanied by police, turned up at Godboldo’s home to take her child into state care.

A SWAT team then descended on the 56-year-old woman’s house with a tank and automatic rifles after she was accused of firing a gun at police officers. After a ten-hour stand-off, which resulted in the mother giving herself up, Ariana was taken into protective custody. The girl had been home-schooled by her mother but wanted to start going to a regular school, which required her to take a number of immunisations, reports Prisonplanet.com.

The girl then suffered adverse reactions to these shots and her mother was told to put her on a prescribed pyschotropic drug. ‘She began acting out of character, being irritated, having facial grimaces that have been associated with immunisations,’ the child’s aunt, Penny Godboldo, told the Detroit News.

Another recent incident involving CPS seizing a newborn because the mother didn’t want to give a hepatitis B vaccine casts questions on what the law specifically requires parents to do. Can CPS go around child grabbing at will or do they actually have to restrict their child grabbing to cases of abuse?

When Jodi Ferris arrived at Hershey Medical Center after giving birth in an ambulance, the last thing she and her husband, Scott, expected was to lose custody of their newborn daughter, forcing them to spend the first night of their daughter’s life sleeping in their car in the parking lot across the street.

mercury in vaccinesBut that is exactly what happened after Jodi—like any concerned mom—apparently asked hospital staff too many questions about the care her baby daughter was receiving.

In March we told you about the civil rights case HSLDA filed against the Pennsylvania social worker and Hershey Medical Center staff who seized “Annie” shortly after she was born. But that is exactly what happened after Jodi—like any concerned mom—apparently asked hospital staff too many questions about the care her baby daughter was receiving.

Several months later, in July, the social worker and the medical defendants both asked the federal district court judge to dismiss the lawsuit. If these motions had been granted, the case would have ended.

Now, we’re pleased to report a major victory in this case. Last week the judge denied both motions to dismiss, allowing the Ferrises’ case to proceed.

In a world where anti-psychotic medications come with warnings that they sometimes cause psychotic episodes, homicidal thoughts and suicidal thoughts, and where vaccines are laced with aluminum and mercury, does it even make sense to trudge unquestioningly following every order doctors give? Or should we all be asking questions and staying informed about our children’s healthcare?

Here is a great tip from a fellow blogger about options that you do have if you decide to have your children vaccinated:

If you decide to get the flu shot, keep this advice in mind: Insist on being vaccinated from a “single dose vial.” Flu shots come in multi-dose vials and single-dose vials. Multi-dose vials are preserved with 25mcg of Mercury, a neurotoxin which has a toxicity level 1,000 times that of lead. Drug companies label this as Thimerosal. Single-dose vials are mercury-free with the exception of GlaxoSmithKline’s “FluLaval.”

It’s thought that mercury combined with other preservatives in the vaccine, – formaldehyde and aluminum – creates a potentially toxic, synergistic effect. One scientist stated that “people who received the flu vaccine each year for 3-5 years had a ten-fold greater chance of developing Alzheimer’s disease than people who did not have any flu shots ( International Journal of Clinical Investigation 2005; 1:1-4).

And here’s some helpful information about anti-psychotic drugs for your information:

What is even more nonsensical about the explosion in prescription antipsychotics is that there is hardly any scientific data to show that the drugs are effective at treating what they claim to, while there is significant amounts of research linking antipsychotics to suicide, diabetes, weight gain, decreased life expectancy, and triggering an array of metabolic conditions.

Of course the link between suicide and antispychotic and anti-depressant drugs was completely covered up by Eli Lilly & Co, the makers of Prozac. Despite research conducted as far back as the 1980′s finding that Prozac actually leads to suicide, which is the very thing it is often prescribed to treat, the company hid the evidence until a Harvard psychiatrist leaked the information into the press. The psychiatrist, Martin Teicher, stated that the American people were being treated like guinea pigs in a massive pharmaceutical experiment.

So be informed and be aware and share factual information with others. We don’t need to go along with everything that doctors and government agencies say blindly. We need to be informed and make decisions based on our own intuition and common sense for the well being of our children’s future and try to further individual thought in society. That’s the only hope we seem to have of keeping the next generation from being brain damaged by deadly toxins disguised as beneficial medications.

You ARE a Criminal…You Just Don’t Know It Yet | The Criminalization of Americans

Losing Liberty in America

Are you a criminal without even knowing it? How many felonies have you committed today? If you’re like most Americans, you probably violate federal or state law several times each day, without even knowing it.

conform or go to jailLaws are not always written clearly with the intent to maintain peace and order. Often they are petty, unclear, counterproductive, blatantly unfair or downright ridiculous. Now we have the added indignity of being viewed as criminals just for being alive – at least this seems to be valid is the case of TSA. Everyone gets eyeballed and radiated by huge ex ray machines, or possibly just groped by strangers in public, simply for being alive and booking a flight.

Man Arrested For Spilling Drink In Nightclub in Vegas

In Las Vegas, you can be thrown in jail for spilling a drink in a nightclub. That’s what happened to Justin O’Connell last summer. Apparently a bouncer noticed O’Connell spill his drink and then asked him to leave. O’Connell then asked for his $30 cover charge back. The nightclub then called police, who escorted O’Connell to jail. He now faces criminal trespassing charges.

Here are some other criminal offenses in Las Vegas (and many other cities, for that matter):

  • Sitting or lying down on public sidewalks in the downtown redevelopment district
  • Buying drinks for more than three people within 24 hours
  • Feeding the homeless in public. Incidentally, it’s also illegal to feed pigeons
  • Pawning your dentures
  • Defacing a hamburger, by leaving its contents anywhere in public
  • Jaywalking

It’s no wonder the United States has by far the world’s largest prison population per capita anywhere on earth. More people rot in local, county, state, or federal prisons in the United States than in all other developed countries combined. That’s the tip of the criminalization iceberg. The truly sad part is that it is funded by tax payers and is becoming more and more profit oriented.

Woman Arrested for Buying Legal Over the Counter Sinus Medication

Losing Liberty in AmericaHave you ever purchased sinus medication over the counter? Well, so did Diane Avera, a 45-year-old Mississippi grandmother (but I wonder if she ever will again). Now she faces the possibility of a year in prison after being convicted of intent to manufacture amphetamine. It’s a long story, but basically, Mississippi law requires a prescription to purchase pseudoephedrine (and over the counter medication legally available in most states without a prescription), the active ingredient in many sinus medications. To save time, money and aggravation, Avera drove over the state line to Alabama to purchase her medication, but got caught up in a sting operation. (Thank goodness we have law enforcement looking out for us! Otherwise people would be able to purchase legally available, over the counter, sinus medication without facing court costs, emotional distress and legal fees!)

US Prison Population Highest In the World

According to the World Prison Population List. Ninth Edition (2012):

“More than 10.1 million people are held in penal institutions throughout the world, mostly as pretrial detainees/remand prisoners or as sentenced prisoners. Almost half of these are in the United States (2.29 million), Russia (0.81 million) or China (1.65 million sentenced prisoners)…

The U.S. has the highest prison population rate of 743 per 100,000 of its national population followed by Rwanda (595 per 100,000).”

Boy Arrested for Wearing Wrong Color Shoes to School

Even more disturbing the criminalization of America is now creeping into high schools, junior high schools…and most recently, even kindergarten classes. Case in point: a five-year old boy (from Mississippi…again!) wound up in the back of a police car because he didn’t wear the right color shoes to class. His teacher told him he had to wear black shoes. His mother couldn’t afford to buy him new shoes so she colored the shoes black with a magic marker. This was unacceptable to the teacher, apparently.

This isn’t something new in Mississippi. Last October, the U.S. Justice Department filed a lawsuit against officials in Meridian, Miss., for operating a school-to-prison pipeline.

“The needless criminalization of Mississippi’s most valuable asset—its children—must be dealt with immediately by school leaders and the communities they serve,” said Nancy Kintigh, the ACLU of Mississippi’s program director, in a statement.

Boy Arrested for Having Toy Gun At School

Recently in Virginia, a fifth-grader at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School in Alexandria, Va., was arrested and charged with brandishing a weapon Tuesday after he allegedly showed off the weapon on a school bus.

When the boy arrived at school on Tuesday, police found the toy gun in his backpack, MyFoxDC.com reports. After his arrest, he was reportedly transported to a juvenile detention center and later released.

Alexandria City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Morton Sherman said the student has been suspended and officials were considering expulsion as a punishment.

You’ll hopefully excuse me from making a couple observations:

Anyone can inadvertently run afoul of America’s metastasizing network of criminal laws. Wearing the wrong color shoes to school is hardly what anyone would consider a criminal offense. Neither is purchasing medication over-the-counter.

Once you have a criminal record, especially a felony conviction, you’ll find it much more difficult to live outside the United States, or to acquire a second citizenship and passport.
