Illinois Illegally Seizes Bees Resistant to Monsanto’s Roundup; Kills Remaining Queens

government helps monsanto wipe out bee population

If anyone supports government inspections of private property, this should be a warning to them.

If you think it would be OK to have government agencies inspecting your home for guns, or even keeping you on a list of gun owners, here is the kind of evidence that shows that governments are, at best, inherently arbitrary and unjust. At worst governments are corrupt and tyrannical.

So now they don’t seem to know what happened to his bees. “Golly. I didn’t know we were supposed to keep track of the property we “confiscate” (i.e. steel) from citizens. I thought we could just arbitrarily go wherever we wanted, taking anything we wanted at any time… with impunity. Why would we have to keep track of it or return it?”

It’s sort of like the gun confiscations that went on after hurricane Katrina. What gives the government a right to take a $300 gun from someone who isn’t causing any trouble at all and who only wants it to protect his property? That is money that government entities are stealing outright from citizens. Would you be OK with some military or law enforcement officer say, “Hey. Give me that valuable object you own.”? Me neither. What if they could just “confiscate it no matter what it was? That’s what we’re looking at here.

Honey bees are absolutely necessary to the growing of food. Just ask the thousands of big farmers that contract with bee keepers to pay to have honey bees put next to their fields or orchards. Without bees, food doesn’t grow. Now our ever-beloved Monsanto has managed to wipe out droves of bees and coming back for the ones that are resistant to their pesticide. The government is apparently on their side.

Should we not have the right to grow food if we want? We should probably leave that up to the government too. They do such a great job with everything else…

Illinois Illegally Seizes Bees Resistant to Monsanto’s Roundup; Kills Remaining Queens

The Illinois Ag Dept.  illegally seized privately owned bees from renowned naturalist, Terrence Ingram, without providing him with a search warrant and before the court hearing on the matter, reports Prairie Advocate News.

Behind the obvious violations of his Constitutional rights is Monsanto. Ingram was researching Roundup’s effects on bees, which he’s raised for 58 years.  “They ruined 15 years of my research,” he told Prairie Advocate, by stealing most of his stock.

A certified letter from the Ag Dept.’s Apiary Inspection Supervisor, Steven D. Chard, stated:

“During a routine inspection of your honeybee colonies by … Inspectors Susan Kivikko and Eleanor Balson on October 23, 2011, the bacterial disease ‘American Foulbrood’ was detected in a number of colonies located behind your house…. Presence of the disease in some of your colonies was confirmed via test results from the USDA Bee Research Laboratory in Beltsville, Maryland that analyzed samples collected from your apiary….”

Ingram can prove his bees did not have foulbrood, and planned to do so at a hearing set in April, but the state seized his bees at the end of March. They have not returned them and no one at the Ag Dept. seems to know where his bees are.

The bees could have been destroyed, or they could have been turned over to Monsanto to ascertain why some of his bees are resistant to Roundup. Without the bees as evidence, Ingram simply cannot defend against the phony charges of foulbrood.

Worse, all his queens died after Kivikko and Balson “inspected” his property, outside of his presence and without a warrant.

Of note, Illinois beekeepers are going underground after Ingram’s experience and refuse to register their hives, in case the state tries to steal their private property on phony claims.

New Research Connects RoundUp Active Ingredient Glyphosate Produced by Monsanto to Many Diseases

Debbie Stabenow - has damaged her brain by eating too much GMO food

I have been reading more and more about research showing that many of the newly prolific and mystifying diseases, disorders and syndromes we seem to have so much trouble with here in the United States are connected to the active ingredient glyphosate in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide.

Of course, old research also connected RoundUp to many diseases and disorders as well, but that was back when it was a conspiracy theory to think that the government would ever lie or even be terrible at conducting or interpreting research or even making sure it was valid. Yes, that was way back in the day when people thought maybe some parts of the government weren’t corrupt to the point that they didn’t mind how sick you got or if you died as long as they were personally paid off by huge, super-wealthy corporations.

The next time you hear the term conspiracy theory interpret that to mean “facts that haven’t been proven to the satisfaction of people who can profit from keeping them repressed.”

The video below is very enlightening and I highly recommend it.

Many Diseases Now Connected to RoundUp Active Ingredient Glyphosate Produced by Monsanto

Leaky gut syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, obesity, heart disease, autism and more–a groundbreaking study now shows a direct link between RoundUp (Glyphosate)-soaked crops and these diseases. And it all goes back to our gut bacteria…

I can not stress enough the importance of watching this video (link below)… but here’s a synopsis for those on a time crunch:

Jeffrey Smith interviews Dr. Stephanie Seneff about Glyphosate from Kristin Canty on Vimeo.

For years, Monsanto assured us that the “metabolic pathway” that enabled RoundUp to kill plants did not exist in the human body. Stephanie Seneff, PhD, a Senior Research Scientist at MIT, has now proven that our gut bacteria does indeed contain the very same metabolic pathway, and it’s being targeted and killed by exposure to RoundUp / consuming RoundUp Ready GMO crops such as corn and soy — in much the same way.

Considering that RoundUp Ready crops represent the primary purpose / large majority of GMO crops world wide, and GMOs are reported to be in >70% of processed foods, this is a significant finding–even more so when contrasted against these specific diseases.

If you only watch the first 5 minutes of this video, you’ll learn enough to be sobered.

If you know anyone with autism in their family, keep watching through the 10 minute mark.

Better yet, make time to watch the whole thing. It’s packed with facts that will make you a far more informed and aware human and (hopefully) motivate you to March Against Monsanto this weekend!

Senator Expected to Attempt to Repeal So Called Monsanto Protection Act Due To Public Pressure, Activism and Outrage

Sadly the FDA and federal government have been puppets, purchased by corporations, for far too long. They allow unsafe drugs and food practices while working to ban and repress healthful information from making its way to the forefront of public knowledge.

If a corporation needs it’s own legislation to protect it from legal action, it must know it’s doing something illegal or at least something so inherently wrong that people would want to take legal action against it.

On a related note, why isn’t it illegal to slip a “rider” into a completely unrelated bill so that no one knows that it is being passed into law? We need to make each law pass on it’s own merits. Often you hear some absurd legislation hidden inside a lengthy bill that no congressman reads before they vote anyway. Is it really valid legislation if they slip a  “rider” that says something completely absurd like “oh yeah we get to take your kids when they are three and put them in orphanages so you’ll never see them again” inside a bill that is meant to protect children or some similar nonsense.

But finally public pressure and activism is having an effect on this detestable system, so:

So, keep up the good work, guys! 😉

Senator Expected to Attempt to Repeal Monsanto Protection Act Due To Public Pressure, Activism and Outrage

The so-called Monsanto Protection Act signed into law earlier this year caused such an outrage that people around the world are planning to protest the biotech company later this month. Now a United States Senator is expected to try and repeal that law after mounting pressure.

The notorious ‘Monsanto Protection Act’ rider stuffed into the non-related Senate spending bill may soon be repealed thanks to the massive amounts of activism and outrage that have now amounted into a legislative charge towards action. Action that has turned into legislation progress through Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon, who has announced an amendment that would remove Section 735 (the Monsanto Protection Act as its known) from the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act of 2013 Senate spending bill.

The rider, which almost managed to slip incognito and pass by the alarm system of the alternative media, grants GMO juggernaut Monsanto full immunity from federal courts in the event that one of its genetically modified creations is found to be causing damage to health or the environment. Essentially, it grants Monsanto power over the United States federal government. Thankfully, I was able to get on the subject through news tips and covered the Monsanto Protection Act all the way up until the bill containing it was signed into law by Obama.

MONSANTO PROTECTION ACT REPEALED FDA CORRUPTION DISEASE AND DEATHUltimately, as the Monsanto Protection Act became more a hot issue, we had an increasing amount of publicity — but the Senate vote came just too quickly for the attention to put a halt on the rider. But even after its passing, sources like Russia TodayNaturalNewsInfowars, and myself here at NaturalSociety were sounding the alarm big time. Enough so that it even led to an apology from the top Senator who actually ended up approving the bill containing the rider.

Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland actually went and released a statement apologizing for allowing the Monsanto Protection Act through and vowing to fight against GMOs and Monsanto. Ultimately, multiple Senators had entered damage control after the jig was up. That is besides Senator Roy Blunt from Missouri, who actually worked with Monsanto (as in he let them write it while he received funding) on the Monsanto Protection Act rider. A rider he says is perfectly reasonable. After all, why not give Monsanto full immunity from the legal system the rest of us are subject to?

Even Obama was getting blasted on his Facebook page following the approval of the Monsanto Protection Act, with the majority of comments coming into his page criticizing his signature on the bill that contained the rider.

Thanks to this activism, it looks like the Monsanto Protection Act may soon be repealed after this new bill hits Washington. This time, we will have plenty of time to let the Senators know that they are voting against the public if they choose to side with Monsanto. And with such a specific agenda for this bill, I see it doing well in the Senate.
