Special Ed Teacher rapes 10 y/0 student but apologizes in a letter saying:

“I was too rough. Sorry. It’s normal. You may feel pain for a few days.”

Although I realize that most educators are good, moral, well-intentioned people, I do believe the educational system is more than broken at this point. Kids are having sex in schools (literally in the school buildings), teachers increasingly are inappropriate with students. Often when crimes are committed it seems as though the school ignores violence, yet children are suspended for eating their pop tarts into the shape of a gun and other ridiculous nonsense.  Rather than throwing more money into a money pit that to try to fix the unfixable, it’s time to turn education over to the states and let each state regulate their own educational. This would hopefully lead to more local responsibility taken and more scrutiny of school employees. I am relieved to see this mans crime is being taken seriously (as far as I can tell). So many times government employees seem to (sometimes literally) get away with murder.

Once this burly, heavily muscled man had the little girl in his car, he took her to a Queens parking lot and raped her. He wasn’t worried about passers-by, because of his heavily tinted car windows.

The day after this horrific assault, Criscuolo sent the girl an email apologizing for being “too rough”:

I was too rough. Sorry. It’s normal. You may feel pain for a few days.

There is nothing “normal” about a man raping a ten-year-old child. This kind of “normal” exists only in the mind of a very, very sick and evil human being. What makes it even worse – and it’s hard to get worse than what Criscuolo did — was the fact that he did this to a special needs child entrusted to his care.

Criscuolo is being charged with, among other things, rape, predatory sexual assault against a child, and endangering the welfare of a child. At his arraignment today, the Court ordered he be held on a $750,000 bond and $500,000 cash bail.

Because Criscuolo has worked in the New York Public school system for eleven years, investigators are trying to determine whether he left any other victims behind him.
